Each semester, Collegiate Women in Business takes a corporate trip for members to meet business professionals and to observe how companies in the Midwest operate. This year, CWIB visited ITA Group and RSM in the fall, and Dotdash Meredith and KPMG this spring. Previously, CWIB has taken corporate trips to see Cargill, 3M, Union Pacific Railroad, Principal Financial Group, and many other companies. One connection can radically change your future.Corporate Trips give the CWIB members a great networking opportunity. In the past, these trips have led to in-depth conversations about specific positions, exchanging resumes, connecting on LinkedIn and scheduling interviews. Making meaningful connections is a powerful way to get your foot in the door. Corporate trips give great insight on future potential employers.Corporate Trips are more than just visiting companies. It is a great opportunity to get to know others Collegiate Women in Business members on a more personal level. Through traveling to another city and riding in a car together for six hours in one day, you start to learn quite a bit about one another.
